30A Food Secrets
Secrets, Tips, and Tricks from a 30A Local:
- Sally’s– When our son was working at Big Daddy’s Bike Shop he discovered that the gas station, Redd’s, across 30A has awesome breakfast tacos and is very reasonable too! https://goo.gl/maps/XP9N25uw7q6cpAmF6
- Publix– Our daughter, who is a freshman at South Walton H.S., and her friends love the made-to-order sandwiches from Publix. You can pre-order and pick up so you don’t have to wait in line. This would be a great grab-n-go for a day at the beach!
- Crust– This restaurant is a little hidden gem off of 98. The owners are from Alaska and they know their seafood! A fabulous fact about this place is that it is BYOB. So bring your favorite bottle of wine, sit on the patio and enjoy some great seafood! https://goo.gl/maps/5QAXDNx9Hf2XJeWT7
- North Beach Social– Local teenagers love hanging out here and the South Walton Seahawks have their football tailgating parties here. It is a great place for people of all ages; as they have outdoor games, a great bar and live music. https://www.northbeach.social/
- Farm and Fire– This secret gem is located upstairs, above North Beach Social and has some of the best sushi in town. This is a great date night spot. https://www.farmandfiresouthwalton.com/
- Bayou Bill’s– Ok, I receive mixed reviews from locals; however, I had to mention it because our daughter LOVES the sushi here. Who knew??https://bayoubills.com/
- Red Fish Taco– You must try the infamous frozen cocktail, Stink Juice, and let me know what you think! https://redfishtaco.com/
- Tommy Bahamas– Ok, we’re practically in Miramar Beach territory here but y’all I just had to say something about this restaurant. They have THE best dirty martini with blue cheese olives. My perfect meal here would be the Warm Goat Cheese dip to start, the Macadamian Nut Crusted Snapper for entrée and the Pineapple Creme Brulee to finish. Trust me it’s worth the drive!! https://goo.gl/maps/CSUvRRXTkgsAbzEF6
- Louis Louis– This restaurant, located off of 98, is a sister restaurant of Redbar and has great outdoor ambiance so if you are looking for the same delicious food served at Redbar but want to skip the wait then come here. http://www.louislouis.net
- Crackings– This restaurant is on my food guide but I just had to mention that they have THE BEST mimosas! They are made with fresh fruit and you can order them to go! https://www.crackingsfl.com/santa-rosa
